Homeslice started out as a street-food van before graduating to a permanent home in Seven Dials. Generous slices, with crisp crusts but thin and floppy in the centre, are £4 each (or a whole pizza is £20). The menu changes depending on the season: look out for courgette and artichoke, or bone marrow, spring onion and watercress.

Voodoo Ray’s

From the people behind Dalston Superstore bar/club, this is a seriously cool pizza joint. Modelled on New York pizzerias, you can get a huge wedge cut from a 22in pizza (from £3.90). Try a dairy-free option with beetroot, or regular pizza topped with meatballs. Open until 3am on Friday and Saturday; 1am or 2am on other nights.

If you’re in need of sustenance as you stumble through Clerkenwell, nip into this little pizza bar and grab a slice. It’s open until 5am on Friday and Saturday. Roman pizza is served al taglio (in rectangular slices) and here you can get it topped with anything from pancetta to potatoes to scamorza cheese (from £2).
