I don’t go to pubs much but I love The Prince Regent in Herne Hill.
Last album you bought?
A selection of my daughter Jess Mills’ latest, not-yet-released but beautiful songs.
At the moment you are...
Gearing up the campaign to make investment in early childhood a post-2015 Millennium Development Goal. It would benefit children worldwide.
Who do you call when you want to have fun?
Old family friends, our children or close girlfriends.
Who’s your hero?
Ed Glucksman, consultant in charge of A&E at King’s College Hospital in Camberwell. For 25 years, he and his team have saved lives and treated terrible injuries at one of the busiest A&E departments in the country.
What do you collect?
Cosy quilts, in very soft cotton and pretty designs, mostly made in the 1930s or 1940s. I have many — they were great for sleepovers when our children were younger.
