How much is too much when it comes to accessories?
You do see men who go ‘accessorise all areas’ and throw everything together in one outfit: pocket square, bracelets, man bag, hat, tie bar/tie pin, kitchen sink, etc. Four words: Calm. The Hell. Down. Like over-seasoning a dish, too many accessories ruin the overall effect. Judiciously combining two or three of these items, however, can look very chic (Luis Morais bracelet, above, from £150, at mrporter.com). Follow Coco Chanel’s lead: ‘Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and remove one accessory.’
