What are the key trends for men this autumn/winter?
The good news is that this season brings tidings of comfort and joy. Coats are oversized with slouchier shoulders, and sometimes belted — see examples at APC, Bottega Veneta and Public School. And in addition to cuffed sweatpants, there’s a new trouser silhouette: a wider-leg, looser-cut flannel (Margiela, Our Legacy, Wooyoungmi) that can be dressed down with sneakers or up with tailoring. Also, we’re seeing more high-end technical gear (Patagonia, Arc’teryx Veilance, Moncler). Comfortable, practical, fashionable: three words that so rarely go together.
