I’m recently single and am now dating. How can I dress to impress?
There was a movement started by the dating book The Game a few years back for ‘peacocking’ — wearing something outlandish as a conversation starter — but reinventing yourself to get more dates is a big no-no. We’re told women look first at a man’s shoes, watch and wallet as an indication of his taste/bank balance. I’d suggest Grenson brogues, a Uniform Wares watch and a Tod’s cardholder. And, of course, make sure you’re wearing good-quality underwear if you wish to impress as you undress.
