What do you think of monogramming?
Stamping one’s initials on everything is the NBT (Next Big Thing, obvs) in customisation. It’s all about size and placement. Too showy and visible (eg, shirt cuffs, velvet slippers, on your bag) and you’ll look a bit of a bell (the Indian PM took it to next-level naffness by having his name stitched into his suit’s pinstripes for Obama’s recent visit, and Marvin Humes wore a monogrammed tracksuit, above, at his wedding to Rochelle Wiseman). But if it’s totally hidden, well, what’s the point? For a stamp of approval that isn’t OTT, opt for subtle placement in a discreet font. Signing off, DR.
