Taste Assessment: Aside from its binary core offering, Champagne and Fromage also does a sideline in takeout/delivery, in which charcuterie and cheese boards take pride of place, alongside salads, sandwiches and cold soups. The Corsican board features wafer-thin and delicately flavoured Coppa, buttery Lonzo and tangy, rich Jambon, which has a deliciously long aftertaste. It’s accompanied by crisp sliced gherkins and a crusty pain rustique to offset the relentless protein. The lunch box-sized cheese board, complete with quince jelly, drew praise from a colleague.
