Once the glitz and glamour of the Oscars ceremony finishes, you could be forgiven for thinking that celebrities tend to wrap the night up. After all, they’ve got their trophies and served a killer red carpet look – isn’t it time for bed?
Turns out, no! After the party comes the after party, and if you’re in Hollywood, there’s only one place to be seen: the Vanity Fair Oscars bash. Held this year at the Los Angeles Museum County of Art, the event (which is now in its 32nd year) attracts many of the award winners, as well as some other celebs who didn’t make it to the event.
Of course, that all means more outfits for us to admire. Vanity Fair livestreams the silver carpet every year, and it’s one of the most prestigious events to see and be seen at.
So just as well we have a long list of celebs to scroll past and admire. Odessa A’Zion kicked things off in style: the Marty Supreme actor wore an excellent all-black Valentino look for the main Oscars red carpet, but here she switched things up with a jungle print, vaguely Cher-esque plunging dress with massive shoulder pads (if they look like wings, can they still be called shoulder pads?). Continuing the camp theme was Cara Delevingne, who wore a Thom Browne dress emblazoned with a red, sequinned six pack.
The feather trend from the red carpet was also on full show here: Ejae, one of the stars of Kpop Demon Hunters, showed off her Oscar in a fringed, feathered pastel number, while Rita Ora stood out in a massive black feathered hat, which she faired with a sheer black and silver dress.
Apart from feathers, the other look to feature heavily on the silver carpet was black. Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner rocked up, her in a black Alexander McQueen dress, he in Givenchy by Sarah Burton, while singer Dua Lipa appeared in a structured Schiaparelli look.
And how could we forget Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie – aka the stars of hockey-themed romance show Heated Rivalry – who twinned in sheer all-black tops (Williams paired his with a train; Storrie with a fur stole).
Here are some of our favourite looks from the night.
