What’s appropriate to wear for a beach wedding?
As of this week, shops are (bizarrely) full of spring/summer wear, so now is a good time to buy. Test-drive your outfit first. Linen ends up rumpled, so I’d suggest a seersucker suit that won’t crease. Or chinos with a matching unlined jacket. Try Ralph Lauren, Brooks Brothers, Uniqlo, Zara and COS. Definitely a white shirt — pastels show up sweat — and wash and iron it beforehand. Take a tie for the photos. No flip-flops, please. How about suede Derby or desert boots, or loafers? The Man from Del Monte, he say ‘yes’.
