Intreatment: Bliss rubber neck

Procedure: This is designed for the desk-bound who end up with severe tension in the neck and upper back. A parafango warm sea mineral mud pack is applied before the therapist starts working out the knots.

Science: The parafango warms the muscles to relieve tension. The rest is down to the therapist’s hands.

Results: I actually turned up for a deep tissue massage, but on complaining of tension in my shoulders and neck, the therapist recommended I switch treatment. She was right — with the extra focus on my sorest spots, the pain and hunched feeling I usually have in my upper back was significantly reduced by the time I left the spa.
