Virtually famous: Maggie Lindemann

Dallas pop singer Maggie Lindemann isn’t just about looks, as she’s keen to point out in song.

Her first hit, Pretty Girl, reached our top 10 last summer and saw the 19-year-old insisting that there’s more to her than the face that inspired 2.4 million Instagram followers.

The follow-up, Obsessed, takes aim at a pretty boy who’s “looking in my eyes just to see your own reflection.” That hasn’t stopped her from stepping into the beauty industry, however.

To coincide with the new single, her Spotify artist page recently became the first to sell beauty products too, through a collaboration with British make-up artist Pat McGrath. There are eye pencils “in a spectrum of visionary shades” and eye shadows that “offer pure vibrant colour saturation and diamond sparkle intensity.”

Or you could just stick with the Cheat Codes X CADE remix of Pretty Girl, which speeds up her original into a colourful, sound of the moment dance track and has had 15 times more streams than anything else she’s released. It’s pretty good.
