Classic Coronation Street character Toyah Battersby is set to return to the ITV soap after 13 years away.
The half-sister of Leanne Battersby, a current character in the show, will be back in December for a Christmas family reunion.
Actress Georgia Taylor will be back to reprise her role on the cobbles.
“I am thrilled to be re-joining my old friends on the cobbles and hugely excited to be given the opportunity to explore the character of Toyah 13 years on,” Taylor said.

The character originally left the soap in 2003 when her boyfriend got her friend Maria pregnant – it’s currently unconfirmed whether her return to Weatherfield will be permanent.
