Stephen Merchant has been confirmed to present the highly-anticipated return of The Crystal Maze on Channel 4.
The beloved game show will be making a one-off comeback later in the year.
The special episode will be broadcast as part of the Stand Up To Cancer charity week in October.
Merchant said: "As a huge fan of the original series, I’m honoured to support Stand Up To Cancer by hosting this one-off edition of The Crystal Maze.
“Richard O’Brien and Ed Tudor-Pole leave big shoes to fill, but I have size 14 feet, so I’ll do my best."
The episode will be filmed at the Crystal Maze Live Experience in London, with celebrities taking part in the games and tasks. It will mark the show’s first TV return since the end of the original series in 1995.
“We wanted something extra special for the Stand Up To Cancer campaign this year, so we’re delighted that Crystal Maze will be returning for a celebrity one-off,” said Ed Havard, Channel 4’s Head of TV Events.

A previous rumour suggested that former Doctor Who actor David Tennant would be taking the presenting role.
Also lined up for Stand Up To Cancer is a celebrity special mini-series of The Island with Bear Grills, as well as a live fundraising show on October 21.
