Ant McPartlin’s ex Lisa Armstrong appears to have landed herself a new job as she was spotted out and about on set with Stephen Mulhern.

It is claimed that the make-up artist, who split from McPartlin earlier this year, is working on Mulhern’s spin-off show In For A Penny.

Footage obtained by The Mirror shows Armstrong assisting the host on the streets of Cardiff on Wednesday wearing a huge stars and stripes cardigan, carrying a make-up bag.

A source told The Mirror: “Lisa has been taking a much-needed break in LA but it's time to get back to work.

"She's been with good friend Stephen Mulhern all week working on In For A Penny, but her pals are a little surprised she's returned to the show given that it's Ant and Dec's production company that makes it.”

Armstrong has just returned from a holiday in Los Angeles where she stayed with former bandmate Craig Young.

Last week, reports suggested that Armstrong had got two tattoos done to symbolise her strength this year as well as her love for pooch Hurley .

Back in February, sources claimed that Armstrong would not return to work on Saturday Night Takeaway following the end of her 11 year marriage to McPartlin.

At the time, a source told The Sun: “Lisa was always very popular among the rest of the team, as well as very professional.

“But producers just felt having her back this year would be awkward.”
