Jenna Coleman is about to return to our screens in royal drama Victoria – and there was a hint of royal drama during her appearance on Good Morning Britain.
The actress, known for her role as Doctor Who companion Clara Oswald, appeared on the breakfast show to talk up her role as Queen Victoria.
But during the interview, she was forced to address the photos of her with Prince Harry when brought up by Kate Garraway.
The duo were seen talking together at a polo game earlier in the year – sparking rumours that they might be on the way to more than just friends.
“There have been pictures of you and Prince Harry, I’m assuming you’re together because of research? For the royal family? Is that what it was?” Garraway asked at the end of the interview.
“No, he’s a friend of mine,” denied Coleman.
“See, we want him married off,” Garraway continued. “The idea of Prince Harry to marry Clara, Doctor Who’s assistant, would be brilliant.”
A source previously told the Mirror: “[Jenna and Harry] were just two young people on a night out chatting.
“Jenna was honoured to meet Harry, but the pictures make their chat look a lot more intimate than it was.

"It was not flirty and the whole conversation has been blown out of proportion.”
Coleman left Doctor Who in 2015 to pursue the lead role in Victoria, which is due to air on ITV from Sunday August 28.
