Gary Barlow has compared Ant McPartlin’s addiction battle to Robbie Williams, revealing he still worries about his former Take That bandmate.
Speaking about William’s rehab stints on Lorraine, Barlow told showbiz reporter Dan Wootton: “It is a bit of a thing with Rob that he’s just designed to just, now and again, just lose it a bit.”
“We all worry about him constantly. He’s still to us the baby of the band. He was 15 when he joined Take That, he wasn’t even 16.”
Speaking about TV host and friend McPartlin, who was charged with drink-driving after being involved in a three-car crash on Sunday, Barlow said he felt the situation "could have been a lot worse."

“I don't really know what happened. It’s the same as Rob, I think everyone just wants the best for him.
“I think it could have been a lot worse than it was. Thank god no one got really, seriously hurt. I just want him to get better.”

McPartlin has been charged with drink-driving after a collision with two other cars on Sunday night.
On Monday, ITV confirmed that Saturday Night Takeaway, which the presenter fronts with Donnelly, would not be going ahead this weekend.
It was later announced that Donnelly would be hosting the show’s remaining two episodes without McPartlin.
