Andy Murray will team up with brother Jamie Murray in the men’s doubles at Wimbledon next month.

Andy Murray has already committed to play in the singles at his home Grand Slam one last time and has agreed to older brother Jamie’s request to also enter the doubles.

Andy Murray played with fellow Briton Dan Evans at the recent French Open but the pair were knocked out in the opening round having being given a wildcard for Roland Garros.

The Murray brothers will have no difficulty in earning a wildcard from SW19 officials, with event organisers hoping to put the siblings on Centre Court if possible.

Jamie Murray was left without a partner after usual team-mate Michael Venus opted instead to play with Neal Skupski at Wimbledon.

Speaking of the chance to play with his brother, Jamie Murray said: “It would obviously be really cool to do it.

“It’s something we probably wanted to do at some point in our career and maybe now is the only opportunity to do it. It’s a case of now or never.”

The brothers have played competitive doubles before, most recently at the Battle of Brits back in 2022 as the Scots took on English duo Evans and Skupski.
