Rusedski needs a secret weapon

Greg Rusedski may fancy his chances of answering questions about James Bond on Mastermind but he is less confident about making further progress at Wimbledon.

The British No2 claimed he was an expert on the famous film series and hinted that he could need one of the spy's secret weapons to get to round three.

Rusedski beat Spain's Alberto Martin in four sets yesterday and showed some encouraging signs but will be the underdog against his next opponent, 11th seed Joachim Johansson.

The hard-serving Swede, 22, who beat Albert Montanes of Spain yesterday, reached the last 16 when he made his Wimbledon debut last year and since then he has beaten Andy Roddick on the way to the US Open semi-finals.

Johansson's recent elbow injury and dip in form should provide a glimmer of hope but Rusedski said: "I am going to need all the help I can get. It is going to be a tough one and I am going to need the support from the public.

"This game will really determine how my fortnight goes. If I can get through I think I have a chance to go a long way and maybe get into the second week."
