Paphitis said: “We are looking for someone with passion. Experience is important but it does not rule people out.
“We need the right person. I have appointed a few managers and we have progressed every time.
“Dennis is the man for the next four weeks but he wants to play football. Muscat is a lovely bloke. Dennis did not tell me he was making Muscat captain but I would be surprised if he hadn’t.”
He joked: “We are going to get Alpay in as well and that would really make an interesting team. We could make a lot of friends.”
