Henman and Co to face a tough Cup fight

Tim Henman, Greg Rusedski, Arvind Parmar and Alex Bogdanovic have been given the daunting task of keeping Britain in the Davis Cup world group.

The quartet have been named in the team for the play-off tie against Morocco which begins in Casablanca on 19 September. Miles Maclagan will also travel with the team as a fifth member of the squad.

Henman and Rusedski return to the squad after injury forced them to miss the away tie against Australia in February, and will join Parmar and Bogdanovic, who played in the Sydney defeat.

Henman and Rusedski are already practising on clay in London having lost in the first round of the US Open at Flushing Meadows.

Team captain Roger Taylor said: "I'm delighted to announce a full strength squad to face a very strong Moroccan team on their favourite surface. Younes El Aynaoui is having a good US Open and is at the top of his game and Hicham Arazi has great experience, especially on clay.

"We know this will be a tough tie, but we have a strong British squad that is capable of beating anyone on its day." The team will fly to Morocco next Wednesday for extended clay-court practise.
