What they said

Bilic: "Some players went to play internationals and now we are mostly back together, but not everyone. That’s why this Crystal Palace game might be coming a little too soon. I’m not happy because we will not have all of us on the pitch for training still.

"[Palace] are the best example of why Premier League managers are wary of good form. Their confidence has gone down and you start to lose matches without knowing the reason why it is happening. It’s still a very dangerous game for us."

Alan Pardew: "It's a tough game. We've played well there in the last two years and we'll need to do that again. [Bilic] has done a super job. Payet is at the top of his game.

"We're just trying to get the points that we need before the semi-final. That's our focus. We have a challenge in front of us, the teams below are going to hunt points and we're in a position to be caught."

Aston Villa 0 Chelsea 1: Chelsea looking much more in charge now, this could be another long afternoon for Villa.

GOAL! Aston Villa 0 Chelsea 1 - Ruben Loftus-CheekFirst Premier League goal for the youngster, he tucks away Azpilicueta's low cross - with a helpful deflection off Joleon Lescott.
