West Ham want to secure midfield star Manuel Lanzini and outstanding teenage defender Declan Rice on new deals.
Lanzini has been linked with a move to Liverpool following Philippe Coutinho’s £142m transfer to Barcelona in January.
The 25-year-old Argentina playmaker has two years left on his £35,000-a-week deal, which also has a one-year option to extend, but the club are poised to offer him an improved long-term contract as soon as they know they are assured of Premier League football next season.
Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Rice is due to be offered a deal that will more than double his salary.

The 19-year-old Rice joined West Ham in 2014 and has made impressive progress. He made his senior debut in the 3-2 defeat at Southampton in August 2017.
West Ham are ready to offer him a deal worth around £25,000 a week, compared to the £10,000 he is currently earning.
