West Ham star Dimitri Payet has continued his recent revival in form after scoring for France in their 4-1 World Cup qualifying victory over Bulgaria on Friday.
Payet, whose performances for the Hammers last season helped him break into Didier Deschamps' side ahead of Euro 2016, was in an inspired mood in the Group A clash at the Stade de France and proved crucial in helping Les Bleus recover from going 1-0 down early on.
Mihail Alexandrov converted his sixth-minute penalty - awarded for Bacary Sagna's foul on Georgi Milanov in the area - to stun the French fans, but after Kevin Gameiro restored parity, Payet made it 2-0 with his effort in the 26th minute.
The Hammers forward sent a ball into the area that appeared to look like a cross but which evaded the Bulgarian defence and, indeed, France's attackers and flew into the net.

It was Payet's third goal in his last four games for club and country and helped Les Bleus get back into the contest before further goals from Gameiro and Antoine Griezmann ensured victory in Paris.
