Marcus Edwards will look to secure a permanent move away from Tottenham this summer after failing to break into the first team.
The 19-year-old was once described by Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino as the ‘mini Messi’ , but has grown resigned to the fact that his first team opportunities will be limited.
His senior debut, a 15-minute cameo in the EFL Cup clash with Gillingham in 2016-17 season, remains his only action in the Tottenham first team.
Edwards was sent out on loan to Norwich City last season but featured for just six minutes of the campaign before returning to Spurs in April .

While Tottenham are believed to still consider Edwards as a hot prospect, there is a consensus at the club that he will struggle to feature in Pochettino’s plans in the near future.
Pochettino, fresh from signing a new five-year deal with the club, is understood to strengthen his young squad with international experience.
