Leicester vs Tottenham LIVE!

Wasteful Spurs have been left to lament dropping two points in a frustrating opening to the new Premier League season on Monday night. Ange Postecoglou’s confident side dominated for almost an hour against newly-promoted Leicester at the King Power Stadium, deservedly leading through Pedro Porro’s goal from a James Maddison cross but missing several strong chances to kill off the contest before half-time.

They would go on to pay for such familiar profligacy in the final third seen on countless occasions last season, with the fit-again Jamie Vardy rewarded for pushing for an unlikely start as the 37-year-old former England striker nodded home an equaliser totally against the run of play. Both sides had chances to win the match late on, with Vardy, Wilfred Ndidi and Richarlison all failing to notch that crucial second goal.

There were scary moments for Spurs late on in the East Midlands, with Rodrigo Bentancur receiving oxygen and lengthy treatment on the pitch before being stretchered off following a sickening clash of heads at a corner. Thankfully the Uruguayan midfielder was said to be conscious and talking in the dressing room after the game. Follow Leicester vs Tottenham reaction live below!
