Two goals in three minutes from Mousa Dembele and Heung-min Son put the hosts in complete control inside 20 minutes.
Harry Kane - back from injury and starting for the first time in five weeks - grabbed his 20th Premier League goal of the season shortly after half-time, while substitute Vincent Janssen netted his first league strike from open play since joining last year at the death.
The win saw Spurs cut Chelsea's lead to four points before the Blues travel to Manchester United on Sunday.

Defender Tyrone Mings is available again after serving out his five-match suspension for a stamp on Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, while winger Junior Stanislas could feature having been sidelined by a groin strain.
