Who Tottenham could get in Champions League draw: The toughest and easiest possible groups

Tottenham will be aiming to go one better this season as the new Champions League campaign kicks off.

Liverpool triumphed in last season's showpiece, Spurs' first ever European Cup final, in a game which Mauricio Pochettino & Co. will know they could have won.

Spurs find themselves in Pot 2 once again, the only English side not in Pot 1, meaning a European giant is likely to meet them in the group stage. Spurs faced Barcelona in last season's opening rounds.

No game is easy in this competition, but Zenit must be the team those outside the top seeds are vying for. Antonio Conte's Inter Milan are Pot 3's biggest threat, while there are plenty of tricky ties in store in Pot 4.
