England captain Harry Kane has accused Dutch referee Danny Makkelie of "bottling it", after England were denied a late equaliser in their Uefa Nations League opener against Spain.
England's first game since the World Cup in Russia ended in defeat, as Luis Enrique's Spain came from a goal down to win 2-1 at Wembley.
Goals from Saul Niguez and Rodrigo saw England suffer a first competitive home defeat in more than a decade, after Marcus Rashford had opened the scoring.
However, Danny Welbeck thought he had nicked a point in stoppage time, when David De Gea spilled a high ball, leaving him with an open goal tap in.

The Manchester United 'keeper had initially claimed the ball, only to knock it out of his own hands via Welbeck's head, but after appearing to have awarded the goal, Makkelie reversed his decision, leaving Kane furious.
When asked by Sky Sports whether the referee had got the decision wrong, Kane replied: "Yes, 100%.
