Crystal Palace found their man to replace Sam Allardyce, but will already be hoping that Frank de Boer can turn things around to help realise the Eagles' Premier League potential.
Palace took a while to appoint their new manager after Allardyce resigned following a successful battle against relegation, but De Boer has had a tough start to the 2017-18 campaign.
The Eagles were handed a relatively favourable start against newly-promoted Huddersfield Town at home, but were humbled in a 3-0 defeat at Selhurst Park.
A trip to Liverpool saw a much-improved performance, but Jurgen Klopp's side edged a 1-0 win to again leaves Palace pointless.
De Boer now faces a run again Swansea, Burnley and Southampton before things then get really tricky for the south Londoners with matches against Man City, Manchester United and Chelsea, while Palace face Arsenal and City again between Boxing Day and the New Year.
Wilfried Zaha has boosted the south Londoners by signing a bumper new long-term deal at Selhurst Park, and De Boer is busy bringing in new additions to bolster the squad as he attempts to bring Ajax's 'Total Football' to Palace.
