Usain Bolt cruised to victory in the 200m at the London Anniversary Games this evening to send a message to his rivals ahead of the Rio Olympics.
The Jamaican sprinter was not at his best but still came home in a time of 19:84 to ease worries in regards to his fitness.
British athletes Adam Gemili and Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake also featured but were unable to keep pace with Bolt, who was running in his first 200m race of the year.
Bolt told the BBC before departing on a lap of honour: "I'm not fully in shape, I need more work, but I will be fine.

"It's a lot fun, the energy is great and I love being here," he said of London's Olympics Stadium.

Four-time Olympic golden medallist Michael Johnson added: "We will expect much faster from Usain Bolt in Rio.
"Coming through that race and winning will give him confidence to go and work on speed endurance."
