Britney Spears is set to be filmed by cameramen 24 hours a day for an MTV documentary after the 22-year-old singer marries dancer Kevin Federline, 26, in November.

The decision follows the success of MTV show Newlyweds, which has made her pop rival Jessica Simpson a household name in the US.

The couple have starred in three series of the show - which has boosted both their careers - but Simpson was quoted last month as saying she felt they were no longer "newlyweds."

Britney is now reported to be in talks to take over once she marries father-of-two Federline, reports US magazine Us Weekly.
