Van Morrison has announced a five-night residency at a new London venue in September.

The legendary Northern Irish musician, best known for hits including Brown Eyed Girl and Into The Mystic, will perform a string of shows at the new British Airways ARC venue at Olympia, London.

He will take to the stage on September 23, 24, 27, 28 and 29.

It will mark the first residency at the 3,800-seat venue after its opening on June 16.

The new purpose-built live music and events venue is part of the £1.3 billion London Olympia redevelopment project.

Lucy Noble, senior vice president for UK venues at AEG Presents, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Van Morrison as the very first artist to have a residency at our brand new venue. The shows are set to be incredible.”

The new 3,800 capacity venue in west London opens on June 16, with Self Esteem playing a curtain-raising gig.

The venue is part of a £1.3billion regeneration of Olympia, which will also feature a 1,500-capacity theatre.

Alongside the London dates, Morrison is due to appear at several European Festivals in 2026, including the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival.
