Ruth Langsford celebrated a major career milestone days on social media, days after her ex-husband Eamonn Holmes was hospitalised over a stroke.

The GB News presenter, 66, was taken to hospital last Tuesday after becoming unwell, with his team later saying he is “recovering well”.

Holmes broke his silence on the health scare in an emotional Instagram post earlier this week, revealing he will “do his best” to get better.

Amid her former partner’s health woes, Langsford shared her joy over the success of her newly-released memoir, Feeling Fabulous.

The This Morning star, 66, shared a video of herself announcing that her book is in The Sunday Times’ top 10 bestseller’s list for hardback books.

“Now this is something I never thought I’d be saying…” she captioned the clip.

She went on: “I’ve just found out I’m number 10 in General Hardbacks on The Sunday Times Bestsellers of 2026, which means, of all the General hardbacks released this year so far, it’s the 10th best seller!

“Honestly, it feels a bit surreal even writing that. A massive, thank you to everyone who’s bought the book, shared it, or supported it in any way… it truly means more than you know.

“And if you haven’t come across it yet, it’s available in Tesco, Sainsbury’s and on Amazon.Feeling very grateful today… thank you.”

Langsford released the memoir in February, and in it discusses her 2024 split from Holmes after 27 years together.

She is yet to comment publicly on her ex’s latest health scare.

Holmes was taken to hospital last week. A GB spokesperson said Holmes is improving.

“He is currently responding well to treatment,” the spokesperson added. “Eamonn has asked for privacy as he focuses on getting better.

“His colleagues and everyone at GB News wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming him back to the people’s channel when he is ready to return.”

Holmes shared a heartfelt message from the hospital earlier this week.

The presenter shared a sweet photo of his two granddaughters holding handmade, misspelled “get well soon” signs for him.

He captioned the post: “As my beautiful Granddaughters put it so well - I will do my best to get well SOOM.

“Thank you for all of your many many good wishes, they give me strength.”

Hours earlier, Holmes’ son Declan - who he shares with ex-wife Gabrielle Holmes - said the stroke came as a “real shock”.

“I just wanted to share a quick message to say we hugely appreciate all the messages, it means a lot to us as a family,” he penned on Instagram.

“What happened came as a real shock, but Dad is doing okay given the circumstances and we're taking it one step at a time.

“For now, we're focused on him and keeping things steady around him.”

Holmes had been due to return to GB News Breakfast on Monday for the show he co-hosts with Ellie Costello from Monday to Wednesday.

Alex Armstrong is filling in for him this week while he recovers.
