The celebrities shrugged off their heavy haute couture Met Gala gowns, with the likes of Kendall Jenner, Doja Cat and Charli XCX slipping into something a little lighter (aka more revealing) for the afterparty.
Jenner echoed her nipple-forward red carpet look from earlier in the evening with a sculpted nude bodice dress with faux nipples as she headed to the bash at People’s Bar in New York on Monday night.
The model wore a blush-tone leather piece created by Zac Posen-fronted retailer GapStudio in collaboration with New York-based brand Seks, accessrising with a chiffon skirt and gauzy headscarf.
Kendall Jenner at the Met Gala afterpartyGetty“The after party look was always meant to be the other side of the same coin, softer, more intimate, but no less intentional,” Posen said of the outfit.
“Kendall has this incredible ability to carry both power and vulnerability in the same breath, and the blush bodice was designed for exactly that, sculpted for her body on her body.”
Charli XCX, meanwhile, opted for a totally sheer black lace Saint Laurent dress, Doja Cat rocked a flimsy slip of a nude dress, and Zoe Kravitz turned to Saint Laurent with a sheer-bodice black dress.
Ignoring the backlash surrounding the Met fundraiser in recent weeks, the stars partied into the early hours of the night.
