Jemima Goldsmith puts sprawling west London mansion on the market for £6.5 million

Jemima Goldsmith has put her west London mansion on the market for £6.5 million.

Friends of the TV and film producer say she is seeking a fresh start now that her sons and stepdaughter have moved out.

Ms Goldsmith, known professionally as Jemima Khan, bought the five-bedroom London property, Britannia Studios, in 1999 while married to cricketer and former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan.

She has now decided to sell the home.

“After nearly 30 years here, my kids have moved out and I've finally decided to move,” Ms Goldsmith told the Mail on Sunday.

Visitors compared the property, on the Chelsea–Fulham border, to a New York loft, with its 49ft open-plan living space and interiors blending faded grandeur with bohemian comfort.

Ms Goldsmith — daughter of the late financier Sir James Goldsmith and his second wife Lady Annabel Goldsmith — divorced Mr Khan in 2004.

Friends reportedly told the Mail on Sunday that her attachment to Britannia Studios diminished following her mother’s death in October at the age of 91.

The newspaper also revealed last month that Ms Goldsmith is engaged to James O'Reilly, son of the late Irish media magnate Sir Anthony O'Reilly.

Friends claim she now plans to divide her time between Mr O’Reilly’s home in Switzerland and her £15 million manor house in the Cotswolds.
