It sells itself as the hippest, hottest art prize around, but there is a dull predictability to this year's most hyped exhibit. Carey Young is one of nine artists to have been short-listed, and her 'work' is represented by a legally binding 'Non-Disclosure Agreement' that forbids the sponsor from revealing just what it is that she might have made. Also jostling for the £20,000 prize are digital, video and performance artists, interventionists, an art collective and a lone sculptor.
