Last night, at the Pearl Lowe for Peacocks party, held at Sketch in Soho, Daisy said: "I'm moving back home to the UK for good in a month's time. I just feel really homesick when I'm out there and I really miss my mum a lot."
It wasn't so long ago that she reportedly decided to move from New York's East Village to Williamsburg after failing to befriend anyone (Crivens! What's the matter with those Americans?).
She told W magazine: "I really didn't make that many friends when I was in the city, and after a year of being quite alone in New York, I immediately found a circle of friends in Brooklyn that were all on the same path."
Daisy is one of a batch of British celebs who made the move to New York to further their careers — with mixed success. Peaches Geldof came back amid a barrage of criticism over her pompous magazine column in NY, while model Agyness Deyn had more success and is still there.
Daisy reckons she's got plenty of work lined up back in England, but gave us the old "I just can't say what right now" line.
