Liam Gallagher felt the wrath of Paul Weller fans after he took aim at the former Jam frontman in a scathing Twitter attack.
Gallagher, 45, hit out at his brother Noel’s wife Sara MacDonald in a lengthy tirade before turning his vitriol to Weller.
He tweeted: “Wellers full of s*** as well porcelain mod father can’t wait to bump him as you were LG x.”
Liam was branded a “prize clown” as Weller fans mocked his songwriting and called him out on naming his clothing line Pretty Green after a song by The Jam.
One disgruntled Weller fan tweeted: “I’m sure Weller is sittin there thinking Liam who? Weller true legend - Liam not even in his league on a legendary status!!! #whatak***.”
Another told him to “grow the f*** up,” while a third posted: “You can only dream of achieving half of what Weller has in the music industry...mug. As you weren’t.”
One wrote: “What you gonna do? Ask how to write your own songs?”
Another tweeted: “Weller has more talent in his little finger. Stop singing his songs then.”

The pair were previously embroiled in a feud after Weller branded Liam’s number one album As You Were “sub-standard”.
Speaking to Northern Transmissions’, Records In My Life he said: “The lyrics are pretty pony I thought. They’re a little bit sub-standard.”

Liam clapped back with a foul-mouthed Twitter attack, posting: “I don't give a f*** what Paul Weller thinks I've never been 1 of his little b****** and he f****** knows it as you were LG x (sic).”
Liam's latest outburst came seconds after he branded his sister-in-law a “witch” and accused her of preventing an Oasis reunion.
