Sharon Osbourne has reportedly negotiated a lucrative contract to return for the new series of The X Factor.

The TV star and music manager is thought to have signed an impressive £2 million deal with ITV for the 2016 series of the show.

According to reports, the 63-year-old was the last judge to sign-up after ‘driving a hard bargain’ with Simon Cowell.

“Sharon drives a hard bargain and has other commitments but Simon was certain he wanted her for the panel and he is thrilled to have a line up viewers are familiar with and have enjoyed in the past,” a source told The Mirror.

“Simon has described it as being like a greatest hits line up.”

The insider suggests that Osbourne’s new contract includes hotel accommodation and stylists for the duration of the series.

Osbourne has also reportedly requested first class flights back to Los Angeles every weekend so that she can still be part of the panel on US show The Talk.

Speaking about her return, which was announced earlier this week, she said: “I’m overjoyed about going back to The X Factor , sitting with Lou, gorgeous Nicole and naughty Simon. But most of all, I can’t wait to meet baby Eric.”
