Justin Bieber and Coldplay have been confirmed to perform at next year’s BRIT Awards.

The chart-topping stars will join Adele on the 2016 line-up, taking to the stage at London’s O2 Arena on February 24.

BRITs Chairman Max Lousada said: “The BRITs are excited to welcome two of the biggest acts in the world right now to next year’s awards - Coldplay, who are undoubtedly one of our greatest music success stories, and pop sensation Justin Bieber, who will be coming to London for his first ever BRITs performance.

“Next year’s awards is shaping up to be a fantastic night of British and international music.”

Bieber has dominated with UK singles chart in the latter half of this year and currently has three tracks in the top ten.

Coldplay have just released their seventh studio album, A Head Full of Dreams, which debuted at number two in the charts this month.

Adele, whose album 25 is still sitting pretty at the top of the album charts, was announced as the first performer earlier his week.

The nominations for the awards, which will be hosted by Ant and Dec, will be announced on January 14.

The BRIT Awards 2016 with MasterCard will take place on Wednesday 24th February and will be broadcast live on ITV.
