Ray Davies has said that he will vote in the forthcoming General Election for the first time ever as it’s a ‘very important time’ in our history.
The Kinks frontman, 72, admitted that he has never voted in the UK before as he always been on tour.
“I've always been on tour. I managed to work it that way,” he said during an interview with Simon Mayo on BBC Radio 2.
The music icon said that he would be casting a vote on June 8 as the UK’s decision to leave the European Union has left everything ‘upside down’.
