The Academy have spent the last few months voting on who should walk away with the coveted Oscars in categories including Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Picture.
But it seems that the movie-going public have a few strong opinions of their own ahead of Sunday night’s award ceremony in Hollywood.
We asked you to vote in our Oscars 2016 poll to find out who you think should be honoured this year.
There were no surprises when it came to the winner of Best Actor, with Leonardo DiCaprio securing a staggering 71% of the votes for his role in The Revenant.
Eddie Redmayne comes in second with 16%, while poor old Michael Fassbender, who is nominated for his role in Steve Jobs, languishes at the bottom of the poll with a measly 2%.
The Best Actress category is slightly tighter, but favourite Brie Larson is out in front with 37% of the votes, with Cate Blanchett a close second with 25%.
Kate Winslet is your most popular choice for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Steve Jobs with 40% while Mark Rylance is the favourite to pick up Best Supporting Actor with 28%
The ceremony’s top award, Best Picture, can sometimes be the surprise on the night, but 50% of our voters think that The Revenant should win the award.
