Police were called to rapper Kanye West’s Sunday church service in Los Angeles over “noise complaints”.

The 41-year-old rapper and designer launched his services in January. Stars at yesterday’s event included Katy Perry and her fiancé Orlando Bloom, Courtney Love and rapper Tyler The Creator, as well as West’s wife Kim Kardashian and her sisters Khloe, Kourtney and Kendall.

Reports in the US claimed that noise from the large gospel choir prompted neighbours to call the police.

Pictures from the event show two officers talking to worshippers and staff members outside the Calabasas venue. West’s spokesman is yet to comment on the incident.

His sister-in-law Kourtney shared a picture of her daughter Penelope, six, mingling with other children in a field and captioned it “Wonderland.”

West’s services began on January 6. The location changes weekly — with previous venues including his home studio in Calabasas and the adidas headquarters in Portland, Oregon.

Previous attendees have included Diplo, Benny Blanco and Kid Cudi.
