Mel B has reportedly taken out a restraining order against estranged husband Stephen Belafonte.
According to TMZ, the former Spice Girl filed papers on Monday, seeking to prevent Belafonte from coming near her or her daughters, amid allegations of abuse.
Belafonte, 41, has since denied the claims, telling TMZ: “As the mother of my children, I’m really distraught in my brain about how this is going to affect our children
“And the depths that she has gone to. That’s it. I’m shocked at those allegations.”

The British singer and America’s Got Talent judge filed for divorce from her husband of 10 years last month, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.
The court papers state that the pair separated on December 28 2016, despite the fact that they have posted pictures of each other on their social media accounts this year.
Last month the pop star posted an Instagram snap of the pair, under the caption: “My baby boo @stephenthinks11.
“We have been through everything that would normally tear couples apart and we have come out on the other side stronger,you loved me before I even new how to really love myself,you are my world honey and let's not forget you are abit of a d******* too xxxx (sic).”
They have been plagued by rumours of a tumultuous relationship for the last few years with both vehemently denying allegations of domestic abuse.

The couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas back in June 2007 having dated for just five months.
