Meghan Trainor has admitted that she’s keen to replace Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on The X Factor.
The American star, who is about to release new album Thank You, has said that she would ‘love’ to be a judge on this year’s show.
Speaking on KISS FM, the 22-year-old said: “I would love to do it; I want to do it so bad.”
And it seems that the rising star is pretty determined to bag herself a space on the judging panel, adding: "I'm gonna do it, I will, I promise!"
The All About That Bass star is the latest singer to be touted as Fernandez-Versini’s replacement after she announced her departure earlier this week.
Former judges Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne are rumoured to be making a comeback , while Nicole Scherzinger is also a favourite to return.
