Newcomer Lola Coca has said she learned everything she needed to know about performing from her days as a dancer in gay nightclub Heaven.
The 27-year-old singer, right, has been courted by several major labels but has insisted on remaining independent.
She has been compared to Lily Allen and sings candidly about past boyfriends.

Coca grew up in Portsmouth and is now based in east London, and her CV includes a spell at Heaven in the West End.
“There’s nothing in the world that can teach you more than dancing in a gay club! I was a Lady Gaga impersonator, a Madonna impersonator — it’s a very crazy past,” she said.
