Kendall Jenner has hit back at acne trolls following her appearance at the Golden Globes.

The 22-year-old model wowed on the red carpet at the awards ceremony on Sunday evening in a Giambattista Valli gown, but was bombarded with cruel comments about her complexion.

Despite the outpouring of praise for her gown, a number of social media trolls were quick to criticise the TV star’s acne.

Jenner took the opportunity to turn the negative into a positive, telling her fans to never let it hold them back.

She wrote on Twitter: “never let that s*** stop you!”

Jenner has previously opened up about her own personal struggles with acne.

Writing on her blog, she said: “Where it really impacted me was how self-conscious I became about it. It completely ruined my self-esteem. I wouldn’t even look at people when I talked to them.

Jenner also faced a backlash at Sunday night’s Golden Globes ceremony, with people left questioning why she was there.
