Kelly Clarkson had a few choice words for a Twitter troll who took aim at her weight.

Clarkson, 35, was targeted online after she posted a heartfelt message in celebration of the Fourth of July.

She tweeted: “Thank u 2 every person in service 4 protecting all of us and cheers to every person who fought for us to experience freedom & independence.”

One reply read: “You’re fat.”

Clarkson snapped back: “…. And still f****** awesome.”

Fans praised the Stronger singer for “roasting” the troll with one tweeting: “YES KELLY QUEEN!!!! You are gorgeous f*** the haters!!!!”

Another posted: “@kelly_clarkson you are THE MOST awesome person I've ever met.”

Clarkson previously addressed the weight jibes she has faced since finding fame on American Idol.
