Sixteen years after the last Austin Powers movie, Dr Evil is back — and this time he’s a member of President Trump’s administration.
Mike Myers reprised the character for a skit on a US chat show.
Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon told his audience that he had an interview with the latest departing cabinet member from Trump’s White House team — only for Myers to emerge sporting the bald head and grey boiler suit of his spy spoof supervillain.
Fallon gasped: “Dr Evil?”
“No, it’s Adam Levine. Of course it’s Dr Evil, numbnuts,” replied Myers.
Levine is lead singer of band Maroon 5 and a regular guest on Fallon’s show. His character then said that he had been in line for the Secretary of Evil position in government, before claiming the post was taken by former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon.
When probed further about his role, Myers added: “Well, I was more of an ideas guy, really. The wall, that was all me. But I wanted it to be a moat filled with spiky blowfish. I didn’t want the Mexicans to pay for it, I wanted Alec Baldwin to pay for it,” referencing Trump’s impersonator on Saturday Night Live.

He teased a tell-all book on his time in the White House entitled Fire and Fury and Also Evil: And More Fire and Also Magma Too.

He also announced his candidacy for president in 2020, showing off a red baseball cap reading “Make the World Evil Again”.
Myers was on The Tonight Show to promote new film Terminal, starring and produced by Margot Robbie.
