I’m A Celebrity runner-up Emily Atack has revealed that she had to deal with body-shaming from strangers after leaving the jungle.
The actress was shocked to be interrupted during a meal at a restaurant by a man who told her to “stop” eating as “starvation suits [her].”
“Some bloke just said to me in a restaurant whilst I was eating my dinner… ‘No, stop. Starvation suits you,’” she wrote on Twitter, adding: “What in the…?!”
“I would throw my burg at you but that would be a massive waste love," she joked.

Another pointed out the disturbing implications of the stranger’s cruel comment, describing the incident as “another example of society’s pressure on people to be thin. Starvation is not glamorous.”
The actress, who announced last week that she would no longer use photo editing apps to change how she looks on social media, has also spoken out about being judged on her appearance in a new interview with OK!

“My whole life I’ve been judged for how I look,” she told the magazine. “Which is part and parcel of being in the public eye, playing sexy roles and posing for lads mags, but I wanted people to like me for my personality and brain.”
“It’s not all about having the perfect body, perfect hair, perfect smile,” she added.
Atack missed out on the jungle crown to Harry Redknapp who became King.
